A man who lost 20 stone (127kg) says he has been refused surgery to remove four stone (25kg) of excess skin because he is still considered to be overweight.So, in one case when there is serious morbid obesity and even a plump prider like myself will admit that there is a problem, and when that person has made enormous strides to lose mountains of weight, medical help to reclaim his self esteem is denied because he is fat. I give up.
At first they came for the smokers but I did not speak out as I did not smoke. Then they came for the binge drinkers but I said nothing as I did not binge. Now they have an obesity strategy.
