At first they came for the smokers but I did not speak out as I did not smoke. Then they came for the binge drinkers but I said nothing as I did not binge. Now they have an obesity strategy.

Horrid
England is supposed to be mild, wet and miserable.
I am so glad it snowed in the south. Now I can hear about it on national news. In Edinburgh in the hard 1979 winter I saw for the first time anywhere shops empty of food. No bread or fresh food to had at all for example. Since the Home Counties missed out on the snow there was little or nothing about it on 'national radio'.
I hate the cold

I have since been told it was 1983, not 1979. Old age.
