At first they came for the smokers but I did not speak out as I did not smoke. Then they came for the binge drinkers but I said nothing as I did not binge. Now they have an obesity strategy.

Peter; does this officially make you a member of the Bloggerati?
Some interesting comments about Pierre-Joseph Proudhon. But the eternal question is raised by your comments; Les Halliday or Danny Wilson as the greatest Lion of our era? (Then again, what about John or Paul Mellor?)
I was particularly gratified by your response to the standard question 'Can you name a major moral, political or intellectual issue on which you've ever changed your mind?'
I am also impressed by the implosive name for your blog. Are you perchance a fan of Saki made in the Naga District of Japan?

No, but I am of O Sakis, a taverna in Milina. I also like the stories of H H Munro.
Les Holliday or Danny Wilson as the greatest Lion of our era?
I nearly chose Danny Wilson as he would be recognisable as the father of Ryan Giggs. Though Danny was the most talented, Les had two spells as a player as well as coach, is totally commited to the club, and I love to see a classic ball handling loose forward rather than the hard running style that seems to be the vogue today.

Thanks for that kind recommendation therein!
